About Kim's Cakes

I have been in awe of beautifully presented cakes ever since going to my first Royal Easter Show in Sydney as a little girl.

My mother used to make a special birthday cake from the Womens Weekly birthday cake book for all of our family growing up.  It was always the climax of the party when the cake would come out!

I have been making cakes now for family and friends for over 20 years.  The sheer delight on peoples’ faces and their wonderful reactions to receiving such decorative creations is so satisfying and rewarding.  I have now decided to expand my horizons and spread the joy and delight and sell cakes to the public through word of mouth, internet and market stalls.

I haven’t met a person yet who doesn’t smile at the very sight of a cupcake or cake creation that is presented to them?  Sometimes we all really do like the same simple things in life?
